Cast in exposed concrete, Life Concrete is an abstract self-portrait in timelines and weight. Each segment varies in length and thickness to reflect both the duration of an experience and the importance I assigned to it, while the depth of the incisions adds another layer of emphasis. Cracks that appeared later in the slab became part of the work—pointing to life’s unpredictability, where breaks can occur without warning, yet still belong to the whole.
